Hi, folks. We're running a mix of SL 302 and 303 systems in a classroom
here. One of our profs is going to teach an electronics course next
quarter, and he'd like to use the "spice3" circuit-simulation program
for the class, as he has in the past.

I had some spice3 RPM files stashed away, but when I tried to install
them, there was a failed dependency (needed readline2). I suppose I
could find a readline2 package some place, but I was hoping not to have
to do another ad-hoc retrofit. I found another spice3 RPM file on the
net that DID install cleanly on a testbed system, but it's from a source
I don't recognize, namely, a company called Conectiva.

Has anybody out there dealt with this issue? I'll just go with the
Conectiva option if nobody has a better solution, as all of our
classroom systems can be PXE/kickstart installed in a fairly trivial way
(i.e., it's not too big a deal if the software breaks something or does
something else unfriendly).

Thanks.
