Sorry if this is too obvious.  I'm using the default setup for yum in
SL3.0.3.  I'm getting regular updates installed automatically via the cron
job (getting e-mails about CUPS update, for instance).  However, yum list
updates showed a large list of not-up-to-date RPM's.  Why would there be a
discrepancy?  Shouldn't automatic yumming have brought all of them up to date
already?

yum.conf and yum.cron.primary both point to ftp.scientificlinux.org/...
