Got this fixed.  It was actually my fault.  A few months ago we were 
having some issues with the autofs package on some of our systems and to 
let the auto-updates happen without breaking things I had excluded 
autofs from the repo config.  And of course I forgot about that.  Once I 
noticed that in my local repo files it was a quick fix.

On a good note I do think I'll be retiring my reposync/createrepo method 
of mirroring and setting up to use rsync from now on.
