Unplug the phone and please verify that it is in proper USB Mode.

1. From the Home screen, press Settings & Tools.
2. Highlight the USB Mode setting, then choose Ask On Plug.

When you reconnect the phone, it should allow you to connect it as
"USB Mass Storage".
