Hi,
 I have Scientific Linux 4.4 installed on a Compaq Presario R3260US notebook
computer. 
  On startup the network connection works fine, but shortly thereafter (30
mins or so) the connection is lost. I have tried using /etc/init.d/network
to stop and start/restart the connection, but I am unable to reestablish the
connection. I would appreciate any pointers to fix this problem.
