No new accounts are being made on www.scientificlinux.org, unless they are done
by hand. This is because of issues that the hosting institution (Fermilab) has
had with plone members home web pages and messages.
Currently, every web page a normal member can see, anyone can see. The only
reason someone would need an account is if you were going to put a bug in the
bug tracker. Since we seem to work better with sending bugs to the mailling
list, this shouldn't be too big of a deal.
We apologize for this inconvenience, and we are working on a solution
that works for both Fermilab and our users.
Thanks
Troy Dawson
