You are better off modifying the kernel...src.rpm and having it build a
i586 or i386 kernel. Just install the kernel.....src.rpm for the kernel
version you wish to use and modify the /usr/src/redhat/SPECS/kernel.spec
file to include the kernel arch you are missing.
