Hi,
I've been trying to get vnc-server running with
on our x86_64 SL44 installs.
However on every startup it dies immediately with
the following message logged:-

> Fatal server error:
> could not open default font 'fixed'
> /usr/X11R6/bin/xsetroot: unable to open display 'localhost:1'
> xrdb: Connection refused
> xrdb: Can't open display 'localhost:1'
> xmodmap: unable to open display 'localhost:1'
> [caas66@richardson ~/.vnc]$ localhost:1.log
> localhost:1.log: Permission denied.

As it was working OK on our x86 installations I
decided to try the vnc-server-4.0-8.1.i386 SL44
rpm on one of our x86_64 boxes and the vncserver
session started up fine.

So I was wondering if anyone else had experienced
problems with the x86_64 version of vncserver?

cheers,
Ronnie
