|I'm about to purchase a couple of new systems, my supplier can only
|supply me with a AMD 64 (this is due to a couple of hardware
|computability issues), can I run the 32 bit version of SL4 on a AMD 64,
|I know I'll take a performance hit but I'm not that bothered about that.
| Can anyone see any issues?

We didn't do extensive testing, but I once
installed SL304 32 bit on a dual Opteron
system, and it ran fine for a day or so.
I only realized the problem when I went to
install a 64 bit RPM and the delependency
checker went berserk. 8^/
