Hi,
The src rpm is made so that you can make part or all of the rpms you
need. I always make sure I keep the instructions on how to make them in
the i386/misc/notes directory. So they are here.

ftp://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/41/i386/misc/notes/openafs.howto

So, if you just want the kernel module for kernel 2.6.9-11.EL.XFSsmp
i686, then you would run the command

rpmbuild --rebuild openafs-1.3.82-3.SL.src.rpm --define "build_userspace
0" --define "build_modules 1" --define "kernel 2.6.9-11.EL.XFSsmp"
--target i686

Which just builds that one kernel module rpm.
Hope this helps
Troy
