I'm not sure if this is relevant, but I am using
firefox 2.0.0.7 on SL 5. Java (Java(TM) Plug-in 1.5.0_11),
acroread 8 and adobe flash (Shockwave Flash 9.0 r48) all seem
to work. My cpu is AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+, and kernel is
2.6.18-8.1.14.el5.

For example, this works like a charm:

http://www.burger.si/Austria/Salzburg/360Salzburg_Hohensalzburg2.HTM

Using firefox 2 also has the advantage that more useful add-ons
are available, such as tabgroups, save session and the web
developer's toolbar.

(This is my default browser. I used to use opera more, but
firefox is better for web development, which I'm working on at
the moment.)

| OK, I can't get it to fail on me.
| First question, for all of those who are having this problem. Have you
| completely exited out of firefox and seamonkey? I don't just mean one
| window, but all of firefox?
|
| Second question, if the above answer was yes, can you send me information
| on how you setup your adobe plugin's? Did you do it by hand? Whet
| directory is the plugin in? If it is a link, can you send me the full
| output of ls -l on the plugin.
|
| Thanks
| Troy
