Seems to me I am missing an "=" sign.  But that errors out:

      # growisofs -dvd-compat -allow-limited-size -Z \
                 /dev/sr0=SL-61-x86_64-2011-07-27-Everything-DVD1.iso

      growisofs: no mkisofs options are permitted with =, aborting...
