Just nit-picking.  SL6 comes with GNOME 2 by default.  SL7 comes with
GNOME 3, where "Classic mode" is the default (which attempts to look
quite a bit more like GNOME 2).  Both SL6 and SL7 comes with KDE 4 as
default, IIRC.
