We seem to have problem with a set of asus system with an onboard Nvidia
6150 graphics card. Both using the nv and nvidia drivers, occassionally t
he
screen goes all black (typicall when opening a new windows), with the mou
se
still visible and active. No error messages in the xorg log files or
anything. These systems never failed under 4.4-4.6!
This is rather annoying, and even though swapping to a virtual console an
d
killing the last application helps, this is at least annoying.
Anyone seen this problem, and have a clue about a work around?
