yum update problem on SL 4.0

Recent errata at ftp.scientificlinux.org:/linux/scientific/40/ for i386
and x86_64 are not able to be installed using yum, for example in

It is the same for packages in x86_64.

Updating the kernel package to 2.6.9-11 does not install the
kernel-module-openafs for that kernel version using yum.
