Hi,
Yes, it happened when I connected to a SL 5.5 host from a MS Windows 
PC.  Usually, I met this problem when installing commercial software.  
Netvault used to have a Linux FreeUse version of Netvault Backup.  I 
must log into the root Desktop to install and configure it.
