Hello All,

does anybody know whether the Broadcom 5721 NIC is supported by the
Tigon tg3 driver from the SL3.0.5. (if not, what what about S.L.4.2 ?)
*initial* driver (to avoid the creation of a new ramdisk for a Quattor
installation) ?

For me Broadcom NICs 570x usually work fine with tg3 but current
mainboards now come with the model 5721.

Is there some experience in the performance of tg3 compared to the
firmware Broadcom driver (supports NAPI) for data servers ?

Do I have to expect problems when a NIC is connected via PCIe for
SL3.0.5 / 4.2 ?

Thanks for your help in advance,
                  Greetings, Thomas.
