Hi All,

Just installed a bunch of X11 updates. My gui would not start
after rebooting. I fixed it with the following:

use <ctrl><alt><f2> to get a command prompt. Log in as "root"

      Use
         # init 3
      to clear <ctrl><alt<f1>

      Move /etc/X11 to X11.000
         # mv /etc/X11 /etc/X11.000

      Restore /etc/X11 from backup
         /home/linuxutil restore-rn-root linux

I kept a copy of offending /etc/X11, but for my life,
I can not find any differences. Both XF86Config are
identical except for a comment at the top (revision
remark).

Anyone know where to look? I would like my documentation
to be a little more specific than "restore /etc/X11."

Many thanks,
-T
