You can also specify only the packages you want in the repo file, e.g.:

[rpmforge-extras]
name = Red Hat Enterprise $releasever - RPMforge.net - dag
baseurl=http://rpmforge.cora.nwra.com/redhat/el$releasever/en/$basearch/extras/
enabled = 1
protect = 0
gpgkey = file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-rpmforge-dag
gpgcheck = 1
includepkgs = clam* subversion* mod_dav_svn *fuse*
