With RH8, I can use the following lines
and get plenty of debug info, including
stuff on NFS mounts (what I care about
at the moment):

*.debug;mail.none;news.none;authpriv.none;cron.none /var/log/messages

But with SL 3 I don't see anything new
in there vs using a default level of "info"
which doesn't tell us much other than
(sometimes) that a mount failed.

Did the kernel and NFS utils simply stop
providing this after RH8 or is there a
bug or do I need to do something else?

Thanks,
Miles
