Thamks Alex,
On my laptop (acer TM 8215) I have the same card as you (ATI X1600) and the same problems.
So now I'll try to install the new drivers, but I have a question: the wiki's part you updated is for SL_5.0 64 or 32 bit? I'm running SL_5.0 32 bit, can I follow your tutorial ora Ive to do somthing different?
