As a yum newbie, I find myswlf swamped.
Using Connie's example from the ethereal
thread, I checked for the samba package.

   yum provides samba

But this gives me every version of every
package that contains samba in its name
(unlike rpm). How can I get just the
info on the base package "samba" without
the Amiga interface, the Martian translations,
every gif with "samba" in its name, etc?

Thanks,
Miles
