Hi Brandon,

I suppose I should have stated that my phone does
work on Fedora Core 22 and that I had already double
checked that my phone was still in "Mass Storage Device"
mode.

I though everyone would pick that up from

      bus: 2, device: 6 was not an MTP device

If it isn't MTP, then it is usually (not always) a
mass storage device.
