Same here.

It surprised us with with kdm now using the pam service kdm instead of kde 
(breaking logins if you happen to use kdm, until it's restarted), and 
kdesktop_lock now using kscreensaver (meaning we now have to distribute a 
different pam configuration file to make it refresh the user's krb5/afs 
credentials when the screen is unlocked).

But it updates just fine.
