.. hmm .. no I do not see any option there (we are using our own
installation system called AIMS at CERN, and we just predefine pxelinux
configs which are selectable upon client installation setup)

One piece of information more:

apparently TUV(*) added another option to anaconda
in their latest quarterly update (3) for TUV product
version 4 (;-)):

ksdevice=bootif

(see: https://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2006-0126.html)

which will make kickstart use the interface from which
system booted intitially in PXE - this would solve this
kind of problems.
