SL6 - Bug in upstream httpd package

Hello,

I suffer a bug in the SL6 httpd 2.2.15 that was corrected in FC13 (basically by 
going from 2.2.15 to 2.2.17, see bug report 
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=624609) but not yet in SL6.
I temporally corrected it by recompiling the FC13 rpms source of httpd 2.2.17 
and it works, but that's not the clean way to do it, as I don't have the 
automatic security updates on these packages anymore......

My problem is I have no idea how to file a bug request (to redhat, SL ?), or 
even if it is possible...
