Akemi,

We got the wireless working in that computer.  We followed your suggestions to check the driver and also went through the bug report at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=484406.  Thanks.

From what you have shown, it looks as if the correct module has been loaded. Please confirm that the firmware is there:

ls -l /lib/firmware/

What is not clear is at what point you have difficulty connecting to wireless. Do you see available wireless connections? Use the iwlist command if necessary. Or is it when you attempt to make a connection that it failed? Could it be a security setup/password issue? If/when using NetworkManager, do you get a request for the keyring password?
