USCMS Tier-1 Facility Downtimes will be announced on this mailing
list,[log in to unmask], and on the web at
http://www.uscms.org/SoftwareComputing/UserComputing/Downtimes/UAF_downtimes.html.
(The web version is updated whenever new information is available.)

Thursday July 14, 2005 Downtime schedule:

Upgrade IBRIX to 1.3.RC29 to fix the stale file issue. All IBRIX access
will be offline. No grid jobs will be able to run because they all access
IRBIX. We will need to stop queues Wednesday at 4 PM so jobs are drained
and we can stop the IRBIX clients properly. This also means that all
interactive access and queues will be offline. This will take all morning
to perform. It can be shortened if users log off all UAF nodes, and/or
make sure their PWD isn't in IBRIX space.

Networking will augment our network connection to to 20 Gbit aggregation
between GCC and FCC. It may introduce 3-5 mins interruption of
connectivity between these buildings and will start at 7 AM.

Remove the 5 remaining RH7.3 nodes, move them back into general condor
worker pool

Reduce FBS batch slots to half current value, (use condor not FBS)
