Dear All,

new ORCA_8_4_0 release (please see details in Stephan's mail below) is now
available locally at Fermilab.
A test run of production examples on the UAF: writeiHits, writeAllDigis,
writeDST, was successful.

Subject: [orca-developers] [orca-users] ORCA_8_4_0 is released

Version 8.4.0 of the CMS OO reconstruction software ORCA is released.

It is based on COBRA_7_9_0 release and has the main purpose to collect various
code improvements, in particular for the HCAL/Jets/MET tutorial today.
See the release notes for details ( http://cmsdoc.cern.ch/orca )
A new set of "event samples" will be produced.
